Easton Lately!

Can you beleive that on Monday Mr. Easton is going to be 7 months old? Brian and I are still trying to wrap our heads around how fast this amazing journey has gone so far! Just in the last couple of weeks it seems like he has grown leaps and bounds and is doing so many different things. He is still such a happy chill baby. Everyone comments on how calm and relaxed he is in any environment. He loves flirting with people but has definitely entered that "stranger danger" phase. If he can see mommy and daddy he is ok, but if not there might be some fussing happening. He is very lovey dovey. He loves to wrap his arms around your neck and snuggle into you. Grandma Kalasek and I were talking about that yesterday as he was nuzzling into her...just what a great feeling that is to feel him snuggle agains you. He is pure JOY!

He is sitting up amazing now! He has had a few moments of falling over and bonking his head on the floor etc. but for the most part he is sitting up and playing with things like a pro baby these days! He has really got the whole grabbing objects thing down. He can sit on my lap and play with my neckolace or if i have something with a zipper on it for long periods of time. He is very vocal these days. He makes the da-da noise a lot and occasionally will slip a ma-ma in there. We are still working on that one LOL! He of course doesnt make the connection to those noises and us yet but its still fun to listen to him. His baby babble is the sweetest noise and his giggles are constant and adorable. His laugh can make any worry dissapear!
I still like to sleep like daddy....

holding my own bottle like a pro!

MILK DRUNK!

He is quite the eater now days too. I love making his food bc we get to introduce him to things outside of the flavors of Gerber babyfood. We have steered clear of sweet potatoes and he isnt a huge fan of green beans but other than that he's had: peas, avacado, carrots (loves), beets (really loved), prunes (watch those diapers!!! yikes!), apples, brocolli, cauliflower, squash. We are going to introduce chicken next so we will see how canivorous this lil man is. The solid food is really effecting his bowel movements and now that he has solid poops everyone knows when he is trying to go potty. He makes the grunting noise and is not embarassed by who hears him :) We got him a new jumper this weekend. He LOVES it. Eventually it will live at Grandma and Grandpa French's so he has something to play with there this summer but they are in Rome and London for 2 weeks so we are keeping it here until they return. It allows him to bounce and boy does he. His legs are getting so strong and we can tell he is wanting to be mobile pretty badly. When he is sitting on the floor playing he is able to reach out and grab objects and then straighten himself back up again. He'll bounce up and down on his little butt and you can tell he is trying to figure out how to move/scoot but cant quite figure it out yet (mommy and daddy arent ready for him to be mobile quite yet so I hope he gives us a bit more time). He is still sleeping btw 9-11 hours a night which is awesome! And cranky evenings are much fewer and far between so even if he wants to be up a bit later he is so happy and fun we dont mind as much! He is so much fun these days and I cant wait to see what the next few weeks bring!

My exersaucer! My feet touch the bottom now! SO BIG

Happy boy!
