We had a great time. Its always nice to have an extra long weekend with my boys!!! Although I get Fridays with Easton normally it was so nice to have Brian home as well to hang out with us! Easton loves rough housing with his daddy! We spent our Thanksgiving with the Kalasek/Gremm families. It was nice for us all to be together. Easton enjoyed flirting with the girls and showing everyone his toys. He did great and played hard. He crashed once we got home :) He didnt really want anyone else to hold him other than Brian, me, or grandma and grandpa Kalasek...he has definitely entered the clingy stage when we are around large groups of people.
My parents went to KC to spend time with Tom and Halley. They dont get many opportunities to see them for long periods of time so it was nice they got to do that. We sure missed them but Easton gets a sleepover at their house next weekend so they will get their Easton fix then. He's taken many naps in "his room" at their house so it wont seem foreign to him. He will do great and they will have a blast! Brian is taking me down to the old Market for dinner and then we got a hotel room for the night. Although we arent traveling anywhere we are long overdue for a date night and with the holidays right around the corner this might be our last opportunity for awhile!
Easton is SO CLOSE to walking. He will walk with his walker toys but after awhile he realizes its much faster to crawl so he gives up and falls to his bottom. He does love to climb though and HATES to be told no. The word "no" brings on instant tears. We have to look away so he doesnt see us laughing at him. The fits are in full force these days but they last only minutes.
| UH OH IM CAUGHT..I swear I wasnt going to try to climb the coffee table |
He absolutely LOVES music and will "shake his booty" if you ask him too. He's a dancing fool when commercials come on with music or he's watching Mickey Mouse sing the "hot dog song" He will also touch his nose when we ask him "wheres your nose at". Brian taught him that one Thanksgiving night. He is just a sponge as all kids are at this age...I just stare at him in amazement. Every single day he does something new or picks up on something we are doing or saying. He will grab the brush from my hand after his bath and try to brush his own hair and then my hair now. Its the cutest thing! Here are a few videos of his dancing and nose touching! Have a great week everyone and God Bless!
