We have had very busy weekends so far this summer! It has all been fun things: Weddings, showers, visits with relatives etc. 2 weekends ago Uncle Tom and Aunt Halley came into town bc Tom was in a wedding. Halley and my mom spent the day with Easton and I on Friday. We played bubbles and Easton of course got spoiled with gifts from his aunt and uncle. He showed Halley all his new dance moves and even pointed to her and said Halley. It was precious and I'm pretty sure she melted on the spot! Brian and I headed to Aurora the following day to see my grandparents for a couple hours and then went to Sutton, NE for his cousin, Adam's wedding. There are 2 things about Brian's families and wedding.....#1 they ALL show up ready to party and #2 they are the last to leave.......It was that way for our wedding and this event was no exception. Easton stayed home and My mom (or Nana as Easton now calls her) watched him for the afternoon/night.

Easton is loving the sunshine that has finally arrived (so is mom)! We play outside any chance we get, and he gets lots of outside time at MaryPat's as well. I don't even go into the house when I pick him up usually...they are always in the backyard or riding on bikes and in cars out front. Bedtime is getting earlier and earlier now since he swims almost daily and is running around so much outside! His new favorite saying is "okay" after you ask him to do something or tell him something. He now sings wheels on the bus and does the actions along with it. I know Ive said this before but he is such a boy now....I swear he gets taller by the week and shows me something new daily! He is nothing but JOY for us....even during temper tantrums LOL!
Last week and weekend was BUSY! Thursday was our 4th year anniversary. The anniversary for flowers and fruit. True Brian style he got me an edible arrangements bouquet....Killed two birds with one stone :) Friday Brian had his entire team over. He runs Lincoln Small business and has many people reporting to him. I believe with spouses included we had around 60 or so people at our house. We spent all Friday setting up for it. Unfortunately it stormed that night (and hailed) so around 8:30 everyone was helping to take down the tent and move everything into the garage....Party still didn't stop til around 1am! My parents kept Easton until around 8 and then they brought him over. He made his rounds saying hi to everyone and then went to bed. He slept soundly through all the noise, music, and storming that went on....Such a good lil sleeper! Saturday we had our neighbors BBQ and then Sunday was Fathers Day.
For Fathers day we went out for breakfast, gave Brian his gifts, and played in the yard in the morning. In the afternoon we all took naps :) and then went to my parents house to give Papa his gifts and play. Needless to say I couldve used another day off but that's ok. Cant complain about being busy when its all fun!
