Technically our little man doesnt turn 9 months for another week but we had his check up this morning. He is doing AWESOME. She said all his motor skills are right on track and some are even better than expected at his age. She was impressed that he has 2 teethe already...and he proudly showed them off to her. Dr. Gary got a little of good giggles out of Easton and he flirted with her and then nurses the entire appointment. Im already dreading highschool and dating :) He wasnt a fan of his last hepatitis shot (his last of the 3 Hepatits B Vaccines) but luckily he only got the one shot so he braved through it! She said that he can start eating more table foods if he wants to but each baby is different so he may prefer babyfood for awhile longer. The only foods we are not suppose to give him are corn, honey, nuts or Peanut butter, egg whites (but we can cook egg yokes for him), and shell fish. She plugged in both Brian and my height and estimated that Easton will be around 6"1 or so someday! He was 29" (73.7 cm) so he was in the 80.15% for height; He weighed 17lb 14oz so he is slowly but surely moving up...13.46% for weight; and of course his head size topped the charts at 47.2 cm which was 94.16% !!! He is one tall and lean little boy!
Yesterday we had a playdate with Easton's older girlfriend Colette. She is 1 already so she was showing him how cool she is walking around like such a big girl! They are almost the same height!
