The snowstorm finally came. Brian got to use his snowblower and all was right in the world! Mommy and Easton stayed inside away from the cold and snow. Brian and I are debating whether Easton will love warm weather like me or cold weather like him.....Hopefully I win this battle as Id rather have family vacations near a pool than on the ski slopes :) Time will tell................................

Valentine's Day and Brian's Birthday were spread out over two weekends for us. Its hard when both events are mid-week (Brians Bday is the day after V-day). At the end of a long work day all Brian and I want to do is come home and play with Easton and go to bed :) I know we sound really lame and old! LOL! For weekend #1 Easton and I took Brian to CRAVE for their brunch buffet! It was very yummy! I also scheduled us a couples massage so Grandpa and Grandma French came over to hang out with Easton that afternoon and that evening we went to dinner at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse with Grandma and Grandpa Kalasek and Uncle Pat and Aunt Angie!

For Valentine's Day Easton and Brian sent me some beautiful flowers to work. Brian said Easton used all his allowance on them :) We had a nice meal at home (I made crab cakes and asparagus). Easton was starting to get sick so we spent more time on the phone with the after hours nurse than we did sitting down to a nice meal together. The joys of parenthood :)

Mommys heartbreaker on Valentines Day....with a very stuffy nose!

For weekend #2 (this past weekend) Brian got us tickets to see CATS and then to HIRO for sushi and cocktails. Let me just say I have the best hubby for sitting through CATS willingly. Grandpa and Grandma Kalasek watched the little monkey and Aunt Karen came over to play (and do some baby rapping) too! Easton had a great time while mommy and daddy went out. He is so fun and active now (even when he doesnt feel good!)
Sadly we came home to a refridgerator that was slowing dying so we had to scramble and put all the breast milk outside in the snow and move things to my parents house late last night. Of course it happened on a weekend so we will wait until tomorrow to get someone to come out to fix it. We paid a VERY pretty penny for it when we built our house a year and a half ago so Brian let them know our frustrations (putting it nicely) Whirlpool is not on our good list these days......We borrowed Uncle Pat's Miller Lite mini fridge to use for storing breastmilk we dont want to freeze and bottles until we get it fixed tomorrow. Pretty classy putting baby bottles and breast milk in a mini fridge with a beer logo.....The fun never ends in our family :)
